On the morning of February 18, a delegation led by Chen Zhiliang, Vice Mayor of Changzhou Municipal Government, came to Xuejia Town to visit the potential unicorn enterprises in Jiangsu Province, Genova (Changzhou) Biotechnology Co., Ltd., located in the accelerator of the Life Health Industrial Park.

The group respectively visited the office area, honor exhibition area, experimental data archive room and other areas of the company. Dr. Shen Chun, the chairman and founder of the company, introduced the development history of the company and the progress of the current research projects. According to Dr. Shen Chun, since 2018, more than 20 biopharmaceutical enterprises have been listed, with a total market value of 356 billion yuan and a total financing of 32.9 billion yuan. Biomedical industry is a national strategic emerging industry. As the only "potential unicorn" biopharmaceutical enterprise in Changzhou, which is led by national experts and actively supported by governments at all levels, Genova aims to become a leading enterprise in the international industrialization of China's biopharmaceutical industry, and make a decisive contribution to the pharmaceutical industry undertaking the national economy and the people's livelihood and Changzhou's economic development.

Chen Zhiliang said that Genova is an enterprise with patriotism and doctor-patient feelings. Its founder, Dr. Shen Chun, returned from the United States to start his own business, aiming to fill the gap of the fifth generation of domestic insulin and reduce the cost of drug use for patients.
