Recently, the evaluation results of Unicorn enterprises and gazelle enterprises in Jiangsu high tech Industrial Development Zone and southern Jiangsu national independent innovation demonstration zone were released. Through scientific evaluation index system and strict procedures, Genova Biotech（Changzhou） was selected as a "potential Unicorn enterprise".

Unicorn enterprises and gazelle enterprises are the wind vane to measure the level of regional innovation and development, and also an important starting point for the construction of high-tech zones in the province and self created zones in southern Jiangsu. The selected Unicorn enterprises in the self created area of Southern Jiangsu focus on three advanced manufacturing clusters cultivated by the province, namely, biopharm, new materials and semiconductors. The evaluation criteria for unicorn and potential Unicorn enterprises focus more on whether the major disruptive technological innovation of the enterprise plays an important role in promoting industrial change, whether it has a high market valuation and has obtained private investment, And whether to form explosive high-speed growth.
